May 09 a big month

May was a big month for us. Alot happened with Addyson, all good of course. One big accomplishment on her part......Dun...Da...Dugh.......... She can hold her own bottle now. WooHoo. I never thought I would be that excited about something so small, but it is huge. Now my hands are free to do more. I feel so liberated:) She also started standing up assisted this month. I walked in her room one Sunday afternoon after her nap and there she was in all her glory looking so proud of what she was doing. We can't believe how big she is getting, soon to be a toddler:(

We also decided this month to try some more finger foods. We gave her some bananas in San Marcus and she seemed to do fine with those so we thought what the heck. The funny thing is that we decided to give her some Gerber Graduate snacks in none other than our trusty Walmart. Here is how it played out.

Hey Mom and Dad, what are you doing? Hey see those yellow cans of goodies over there? Yea that one. I think that needs to be mine. Hey back up, back up, no really it is mine I just know it.
Right that's right I told you that was mine. So now what do I do with it? Put it where? Really, won't I choke? Do you promise, we don't need to make a scene. No CPR action going down in Wally World. Really we are already sitting in the middle of the store annoying those that want to pass us.

1st Road Trip

As I have said this has been a crazy busy summer for us. We did alot of traveling that started the last week in May. We drove to San Marcus for the weekend for a family reunion on Trents side and to celebrate 3 cousins graduating from HS.

Addyson did great in the car. How is it that we have been blessed with such a good flexible baby. She slept most of the 4-5 hour trip and played with Mommy the rest. We got to see our cousins Blake and Tyson and that is always fun. Addyson and Daddy played in the pool, which was a little
cold for Mommy's liking, but they had fun anyway. We stayed in a hotel for the first time with Addyson sleeping in her pack n play like a champ. Again so blessed with our perfect angel. We stopped on the way home at the Outlet Malls and planned to stay only an hour.
Riiiiiight. So 4 hours into our shopping Addyson discovers herself in her car mirror. She was so enamored with herself she started kissing her reflection. Too cute. However as we were reaching our 5th to 6th hour of only 1 hour of shopping. Our sweet sunshine.................................
Was done. So we threw in the towel and headed home so thankful that we had survived our 1st road trip. We love you sooooooooooooooooooo good sweet Addyson girl.

Back in Action

Ok, I am FINALLY Back in Action. I know you guys have missed us:) Whoo it has been one CRAZY summer and last 3 months since my last post. Our girl is now 10 months old and we can't believe it. She is getting so big and more fun by the day. She is such a ray of sunshine in our lives and reminds us everday of Gods unfailing love for us.

Man how time has flown by. In just a few short months we will be celebrating a first birthday. What an amazing 10 months it has been. Our lives are so much more full because of our little angel.
