This is another one of the many trips we took this summer. We went to Houston to celebrate our nephew Blakes 3rd b-day. It was a fun trip and as usual there was excitement to be had.
Grammie and Gramps drove down with us and on the way we were caught in what had to have been a hurricane:) It was raining so hard we could barely see the road and were going only 30-40 mph in some spots. So our usual 4 hour trip was about 6 but who's complaining:)
When we finally arrived though there was fun to be had. We all loaded up again, kids, sunscreen, picnic, and pool toys and headed to the neighborhood pool. Addyson loved playing in the water and was all to eager to smile that beautiful smile for the camera. The weekend started out a little rocky, but was proving to be all well and tons of fun. We were all looking forward to celebrating and going to Jumping Johnnys on Saturday, but something was lurking to ruin our fun, it was only a matter of time till our hurricane hit again.............................................................................
We all woke up ready to Jump our little hearts out when sweet Blakers walked in the room with his little pink crusty eye. What to do, what to do? We were all going back n forth, it's the dreaded pink eye, no it's sleep in his eye, back n forth. So Blake bought a trip to the Dr. that morning and low and behold.......It was pink eye. Poor Bobo's. This happened to him on his first b-day as well and all the friends had to be called and Jumping Johnnys cancelled. But no fear Gramps came to the rescue and bought a HUGE water slide and saved the day. We along with Blake enjoyed a fun filled day with family and the big slide:) Way to go Gramps, We love ya.
